TAC Opportunities
TAC engages fiber artists working in a wide variety of mediums and techniques for teaching, exhibition, and community outreach opportunities. Current opportunities are listed below.
Teach at TAC: TAC Madison invites teaching artists who practice textile and fibers arts to submit proposals for in-person classes and workshops. Additional details and a link to our workshop proposal form are online here.
Call for Artist Proposals for Orton Park Festival: TAC is currently accepting artist proposals for an art installation and community fiber art activity to take place during the 2024 Orton Park Festival on Madison’s near east side. TAC is seeking proposals that are visually compelling, that invite community participation, and that will develop/grow/change over the course of the weekend. The installation and activity will take place in the Orton Park gazebo on August 24 and 25 from from 12-5pm each day. An artist stipend of $500 plus a budget for supplies and materials is available. Community Opportunities
Dane Arts 2025 Poster and Calendar Call for Artists. Dane Arts is now accepting submissions for the twenty-fifth edition of our annual arts calendar and poster, highlighting the wonderful and talented artists of Dane County. The theme of the 2025 Calendar is: “Curious by Nature.” Submissions due FRIDAY, MAY 31, 2024 by 4 PM.
