As a new organization, TAC needs support in many areas! Detailed below are a variety of ways to contribute to our programs, which will help TAC grow and thrive! If you are able to support any of these initiatives, or donate specific items listed, please contact Elizabeth Tucker at elizabeth@textileartsmadison.org. Thank you!

The Textile Arts Center of Madison is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Your donation may be tax deductible.

Raising Funds for Scholarships

TAC is eager to start a scholarship fund to ensure that cost is never a barrier to someone participating in a class or workshop. This is particularly vital as we prepare to roll out youth education offerings, including summer camps and after school and out-of-school day classes. If you are interested in learning more about supporting our scholarship fund, please contact us or donate online and write “scholarship fund” in the note field.

Be a TAC Trailblazer

Since our opening in fall 2023, TAC has already engaged more than 1,000 event attendees, 25 teaching artists, 150 workshop participants, 175 supporting members, 50 volunteers, dozens of supply donors, and 20 community organizations we’re actively working with on partnerships and programs. We have been overwhelmed – in the best way possible – by the whirlwind of community interest, enthusiasm, participation, and support. TAC is clearly meeting a desire and need in our community for a hub for fiber arts.

As we look toward the months and years ahead, and dream of all the ways we want to increase our reach and expand our offerings, we’re seeking individuals who will consider being TAC Trailblazers – supporting our next stage of activities with a gift of $1,000 or more.

TAC Trailblazers will provide the foundation to build our community outreach offerings, contemporary fiber art exhibitions, and youth programming.

If you’re interested in learning more, reach out to Elizabeth Tucker at elizabeth@textileartsmadison.org. We’d love to set up a time to talk with you individually about ways your support of fiber arts, and TAC’s programs and future dreams, can intersect and make great things happen.
