For Artists

TAC engages fiber artists working in a wide variety of mediums and techniques for teaching, exhibition, and community outreach opportunities.

• TEACH AT TAC: TAC Madison invites teaching artists who practice textile and fibers arts to submit proposals for in-person classes and workshops. Additional details and a link to our workshop proposal form are online here.

  • TAC is seeking teaching artists for a number of specific, requested subjects. Please contact us if you have any of these skills to share with the community.

    • Basket making

    • Rug making

    • Tufting and/or punch needle

    • Upholstery

• CALL FOR EXHIBITION PROPOSALS:

  • TAC accepts exhibition proposals from individual artists, groups, and curators. Complete details are online here.

• ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM:

  • TAC’s Artist-in-Residence Program: TAC’s inaugural Artist-in-Residence program will begin in January 2026. An open call for applications for the 2027 residency periods will open in late summer 2026. Stay tuned!
