Materials: Second-hand bed sheet, tea towel, table runner and scrap quilting fabric, cotton and polyester thread, wooden stretcher bars.

Process: This work was hand pieced and hand quilted. It was placed over wooden stretcher bars, and hand sewn onto them.

Artwork Statement: This piece was made between the dates of October 7 - November 5, 2023. I made it while attempting to reconcile the way the our society has responded to the genocide in Palestine. These words express my strong desire that we all face the pain we hold inside us, grapple with the realities of how we treat each other, and recognize that every human deserves safety and liberation.
